This folder contains data associated with data published in data tables in the Executive Summary of the Greenhouse Gas Inventory and Analysis (GHGIA; Desai et al., 2026) as well as data used in the creation of report figures associated with this chapter. Where applicable, data included in these CSV files contains the full time series of data as well as full precision (i.e., maximum number of decimal places available) for all data and estimates published in the main body of the report. Tables and figures follow the "Chapter - Figure/Table Number" convention, where the first number indicates the chapter number and the second number indicates the order in which that table/figure appears in the report. The full report and individual chapters of the report can be found here:

Supplemental data tables, such as emissions reported as kilotons (kt) of gas, have also been included. These tables were not published in the main report but provide additional information that may be useful to stakeholders. Supplemental data tables are labeled with an "S" before the table number; for example, table ES-S1 is first supplemental table released for the Executive Summary.

A cross-walk mapping main report and supplemental data tables in the GHGIA (2026) to the data table numbers associated with the previous 1990-2023 inventory prepared by EPA (2025) is available on the GHGIA website: https://ghgi.cgs.umd.edu/data.html
The full GHGIA report as well as individual chapters can be found here: https://ghgi.cgs.umd.edu/reports.html
